About

Our ethos

Studio Two Training provides personal training and small group training in a unique space.

There’s no judgement about where you are in your fitness journey. When you turn up, we want everyone to feel welcomed and part of the Studio Two community.

The well-equipped space is the perfect place to learn a range of disciplines; from fundamental bodyweight movements to traditional weight lifting techniques. A pairing of variety and consistency are key, not only to keep it interesting but also to keep the body moving in a range of ways.

Meet Andy, Lead Coach

The training ethos at Studio Two is developed from my experiences over the last 20 years, both within the sports and fitness industry as well as from a varied and colourful life lived.

Starting as a football coach for Brighton and Hove Albion, I then moved to strength and conditioning coaching in a variety of sports and roles. Alongside this I also developed my coaching skills outside of the gym and gained qualifications in health care and behaviour change as well as mental health and addiction support. I have worked with people of all backgrounds and ages and have most recently supported clients recovering from injuries or illness.

My personal background and passions are in CrossFit, calisthenics, boxing, football and rugby.

My training approach

When you train with me, we’ll focus on where you are in your fitness journey and where you want to get to.

I’ve learned the hard way what happens with the extreme approach that is often adopted within the fitness industry. I bring balance into sessions to ensure it’s challenging, but also appropriate for where your body is at right now.

Sometimes we’ll push hard in a session, and sometimes we’ll back off and focus more on improving mobility.
